The listing, Linksys Cisco Systems CM100 Cable Modem has ended.

I am giving away this Linksys Cable modem. It works perfectly. Uses Ethernet or USB. I have not had any issues with it. It comes with a power cord. It doesn't come with a manual, but you can easily find one online. Linksys Cisco Systems is one of the most respected, top rated companies, and this cable modem is one of the top rated cable modems (it is usually rated between 4 and 5 stars on online stores by customers). Get it on Listia for FREE!

Has it been used on Time Warner? What is the speeds Up/Down that it supports?

I had to look it up (I had no idea - I would think that it would work with Time Warner too), but it hasn't been tested with Time Warner, according to Time Warner - http://www.timewarnercable.com/en/residential-home/support/topics/internet/buy-your-modem.html so I don't know. Apparently, TWC likes to ppl to pay their modem rental fee - http://www.dslreports.com/shownews/Time-Warner-Cable-Swamped-Due-to-New-Modem-Fee-121519 which is terrible IMHO.

I tried to find the speeds, but all I could find is that it supports high-speed, fast ethernet connection. It does not support DOCSIS 3.0. Here is a review about it - http://cable-modem-review.toptenreviews.com/cisco-linksys-cm100-review.html The review states, "lthough the Linksys CM100 enables Internet connections that are 100 times faster than dial-up, its connections are a quarter of the speed that would be theoretically possible with a DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem." Hope this helps.

Yea thanks for all the info. i was only asking if you knew or not. I guess I can take the model # and ask Time Warner. Yea that is why I asked because of the $5/mnth fee from Time Warner Cable that started I believe sometime mid to late last year. As long as you get on their chat tell them the Make/Model they will tell you if it works because they haven't listed all the Modems that do/don't work.

Sorry, I tried my best. The serial number is: VP100G410109, the MAC address is: 0018F886FFC0, and the USB MAC address is: 0018F886FFC1. I'm not sure if that will help. I can honestly say that my hubby and I rely on the internet heavily for gaming and downloading, and it never gave us any issues and it was very fast (we never noticed a lag time).

Many people get their internet through cable (the same cable in which they get their cable TV signal). These people must have a cable modem in order to convert the internet signal sent from their cable provider into a signal that their computer recognizes and uses to access the internet.
