Aki - Hi! I got one of these when I took a group of my students to Europe the first time, and now I use it whenever and wherever I travel. There are problems with pickpockets in some of the European students, So I started wearing it over one shoulder with the "pouch" part in front instead of the back so that I couldn't get "picked" - I'm a little paranoid! LOL When I've done that for 3 days in a row or so (depending on how much I've packed in there), my shoulder starts hurting so I lengthen the strap and put it over my head and 1 shoulder which works very well too. It stays on a shoulder very easily because of the "clasps." I love mine and just bought a big batch for my next group of travelers - otherwise I'd be bidding on this one!!

It's a shoulder bag. You wear on shoulder but its shaped to distribute weight properly. I asked another listian that has one herself to try to explain it to you better. Thanks for looking
