This is an auction for the first generation X-Box.

What is included?
3 controllers (2 are wireless); 2 Logitech wireless adapters (for the 2 wireless controllers); all the needed cords; 4 games (Fable, Half-life 2, NCAA Football 2005, Project Gotham Racing 2); and carrying bag (all included items will be shipped in bag)

Shipping?
I will ship domestically. Shipping costs are $30.00. You can pay through Paypal: it is the only method I will accept. Otherwise, local pick up is free and encouraged.

As far as I know, it's the original operating system. Remember, this is an X-Box, and not an X-Box 360.

Yup, fired it up just before I listed. Everything in working condition. No rips in the bag. No tears in the games, no scratching. System has no gashes or scratches and runs smoothly.

Although this is a rare bid (don't usually find X-Boxes, let alone all the auxiliary items), I assure you: what you see in the pictures and what I have stated mean the highest bidder will receive an X-Box, including games, controllers, and a bag. The spirit of Listia is giving and receiving free stuff. I no longer need this system. We're all in hard economic times. Wouldn't be nice to play some games on a system, for free, in the midst of these times? I think so. Enjoy!

I'm not quite sure. I have charged $30 to ship anywhere in America (continental), whether that's more or less than shipping costs. I have reason to believe that the cost will be right around that price.

I'm trying to find a game system for my boyfriend and I to play. I don't even know what the difference in Xbox versus Xbox 360 is. Will he be horrible unhappy with this instead of the 360? What are the major differences? Do they still sell games for these? Sorry for all the questions but I want to make an informed decision before bidding!

Well, it is a nice X-Box. Unfortunately, games for X-Box are no longer made. And you cannot play 360 games on the original X-Box. The 360 really is an advancement in the X-Box niche, as far as graphics and processing speed are concerned.. On the other hand, people loved THIS system when it came out. No reason you can't get any enjoyment out of it. (Many people still love to play Sega and old Nintendo Consoles, and these systems certainly predate the original X-Box).
