No flashlight, but it does have a red laser pointer on it.

That's a great question! I did try it but I think I don't have a good enough 9V battery, the only 9V batteries I had were ones that were used, so they were a brand new fresh battery, and I think in order for this to work effectively they say to use a brand new battery. The laser works great, very far range with it, now I tried the sonic part on a cat, no affect, on a squirrel, no affect, and on a dog, well let's just say when I had this annoying neighbors barking dog, I used this item, the dog stopped barking and you can see the dogs ears move and its head turning left and right, and I soon as I let go of the trigger he was back to barking again. Im sure with a fresh battery it will probably work better, I just have no more need for it anymore. I bought it to chase away the squirrels, now we don't have any more squirrel issues.
