Have you used Baby Einstein videos for your kids? My son is 6 months old and I am wondering if they are a good investment... I have never seen one and $15 a Target seems a bit steep for a 35 minute preschool film. Any advice or thoughts would be appreciated.

I tried using it for my kids, but they never sat down long enough to watch it. But I have heard from many others that it does great for their kids. Mine alone are hands on. If they can't touch it, they won't want to learn. It's how I am, so I guess they got it from me. And yes, I do think that they are a bit steep for a 35 min. video, but again, I bought it and never opened it, as when they were at daycare, my provider had told me that they wouldn't sit down to learn and it was easier for her to teach them face to face then from the TV. But every kid is different. So I can only suggest that you give it a try with one video first, before you go buy all of them. That was my mistake. I went out and bought 3 and not one of them is open. Hopes this help.

Thanks for the reply. I see your point about buying a pile of them and think starting with one seems wise! ;) New here, so my credits are limited. I hope you get more credits than I can spend on these as I know they are expensive. Have a great weekend!

You're quite welcome. I do highly suggest that you pick one that you really want to work with on your son and go from there. If he reacts well, then you go on to the next.

Sorry, no. These are the ones that I had bought for my kids and never used because they didn't like it.
