My plant was covered with 70 blooms of bright yellow in June and about 30 in July You will get 10 seeds. Once started these are a perennial.

The usually red 'nodule' underneath the flower. Could possibly be another color?

yes it does, I have never eaten it before, but heard it was good, thanks for letting me know. I have only grown them because they bloom so much and are so pretty.

I don't know, we get down to20 below and lots of snow and it does well in Iowa, that's all can tell you
