The listing, Limonite Cubes Specimen has ended.
Mineral Collectors take note: A wondeful example of pseudomorph limonite cubes after pyrite! These limonite pseudomorphs after pyrite are formed by leaching away the sulfur in the fools gold, thus changing the mineral, yet preserves the cubic structure of pyrite! These "Devils Dice" as they are called when loose cubes are grouped in a large mass with the largest cube edge measuring over 1/4". Found by me in the town of Darwin, CA.
Size: 4"x2.5"x1" (widest areas measured). Shape is similar to an arrowhead.
Shipping $3 (its dense b/c it has a lot of iron in it). Paypal, M/o, concealed are all good.
Yup, collected them all. These were just some of the easiest ones for me to get to from my collection. If they sell, I'll keep digging into my boxes of rocks lol.
Well I'm bidding on this and the Olivine!! Keep em coming, I will buy them all!!! Do you have any red ones? It is hard to find beautiful red crystals, and I need them in my practice, I have a small garnet and red coral, but do you know of any other raw ones...I've never seen a raw ruby....
Garnet are by far the most common, and can be very large singular or large clusters. Im pretty sure I have some of those somewhere. I'll keep an eye out. Rhodocrocite is a pink/red mineral too, but I don't have that. If you're looking for certain colored minerals, you could buy a mineral identification book, and they usually sort minerals by color. I'd recommend something like the Smithsonian Handbook: Rocks and Minerals. Again, I'll see what I can find ya!
