Old Antique German Black Forest Carving; Mountain Man Musician. Wood is worn smooth with a deep patina. Very fine Black Forest hardwood Walnut ; The underside of the base has some wood worm holes from old age if you look very close. Everything down to the smallest detail on the guitar, pipes, and rucksack are perfect – there is an ancient repair to a natural crack in the wood underneath the base that is covered with patina. Measures 7 1/2 inches tall by 4 1/2 inches wide from head to back of backpack (depth), and 3 1/3 inches left to right while facing the musician. I will ship with tons of packing materials in a large box with "FRAGILE" marked on all sides of the box. Delivery confirmation will be included. I will ship right away when the auction ends. W&F always. Please F back. I do wood carving, been doing it for 41 years. The carver has to have at least 400 hours into this piece. It's a wonderful example of old style details. Keep spreading the love. :-)
