What does F&W mean? And yes it does I'll post a better pick of it tonight. Instead of a button it has a dial to adjust the setting. And thanks, I've only been on here 2 or 3 days and I'm already addicted! Lol.

Is it good for thick and curly hair?

I'd say 50/50. It does work well on thick curly hair but it's one of those skinny straightener's so it will take longer to straighten. I've got another straightener in my auctions if you want to take a look it's a red one and it's fatter, So it won't take as long.
