FREE: Alfred Meakin "Fair Winds" Cup & Saucer !!!

Up for auction is a Alfred Meakin "Fair Winds" 7 inch plate and cup. This Staffordshire England duo depicts historical scenes of Chinese export to America. Both items are brown and white in color, and are in very good condition. There are no chips, or cracks on these items, the bottom rim of the cup does show a little wear . There is a makers mark on the back of the plate, which I've shown in the photos. There is also an imprint on the bottom of the cup which reads "England".

The plate measures approx. 7 inches in diameter and 1/2 inch tall. The cup measures approx. 3 1/2 inches across the mouth, and 2 3/4 inches tall. The cup has a picture of the New York State Seal on one side and a "Sailor's Farewell" of ships leaving the harbor. The plate has several scenes and I tried to take good photos , you know the adage a picture is worth a thousand words. I am including the plate stand in this auction.
