This is a small collectible action figure for Wizard Gen 13's character Caitlin Fairchild. I believe it's from a comic.

It is a comic. Gen 13 was one of the superhero titles published by Image in their early years (the 1990's). This figure was a Toyfare Magazine mail-away exclusive. (I actually got this figure from toywiz.com a couple of years ago.)

Caitlin Fairchild's a bit of an interesting character--she was a mousy college student who got recruited for a top-secret government program (which was really a means to find people who were "gen-actives"). When she finds out the true motives for the government agency behind the program, she nearly gets caught until the stress of the scuffle she and two others get into with soldiers triggers her transformation into a super strong amazon. Basically, in a multiverse setting, she's the (early) Image universe's counterpart of She-Hulk from Marvel Comics.

It isn't. The characters are still being used--Gen 13 was part of the Wildstorm imprint of Image Comics, but then was bought by DC in the late 90's. Right now, in DC's New 52 relaunch, Fairchild reappeared in the new Superboy volume, then went on to headline their "second-wave" title The Ravagers. You might want to wiki this.

Well, 3 things wrong here. 1) A GIN has to be at least 2000 and I try to never go below 2222 because Listia takes a portion. 2) Someone has already bid on this. 3) 1000 is far too low for something that I will be shipping for free. Sorry :(
