The Maverick is here! Beautiful, and impressive in it's presentation, and takes great pics (see above). Excellent for posting auction pics on Listia, eBay, etc., when you want top quality professional-looking images. Because of the telephoto lens (screw on lens) that I installed purely for looks. It is not readily recognized as a Mavica, but that's okay, I like the way it turned out, and so I have left it on. The winner will receive it exactly as seen in the pics. The pics of lawn, shrubbery, and trees were taken with the camera. None of the pics were photoshopped or retouched, so you can appreciate the crisp images you'll get.
Whether recreational, or work, it's a dependable workhorse that's easy to use. Uses handy, easy-to-replace, inexpensive Floppy Disks to store pics, and makes it so easy to download all your pics with no problems. MAC or PC. You have to have access to a Floppy Disk drive, though.
You can capture still images with high resolution (1024 x 768), with excellent quality allowing you to print, or if you prefer, send images over the internet. Also, 3x optical zoom, plus the telephoto lens give you a lot more options for shooting. The sensor type is CCD with a sensor resolution of 0.9 megapixels.
You can take up to 60 seconds of video and audio right onto a standard 3.5" floppy disk.
