I am extremely interested here but have a few questions. First what is.mobi format? Is that to be read on cell phones? Also, these were legitimately obtained and are not illegal copies of some sort, right? I just don't want any future copyright problems.

.mobi is a kindle fire format, that's what I use so that's why they are in that format) . No these were not obtained illegally.
