The listing, Broken iPhone 2G has ended.

Broken iPhone 2G. It powers on but battery wont hold charge. I heard it costs around 80 to get the battery replaced. It gets as far as the home screen before powering down. Shipping is 5$ free if over 500!

nope, its a gsm phone meaning only att/tmobile in the usa. Its unlocked and quad band so you can use it in most countries outside the us as well

Also Has the wire between the battery and the circuit board been checked?

My friend has this same one.. well same problem and they were charging him $250.00 to fix it.

Its running the lastest firmware. I think its 3.1 something. Its unlocked and jailbroken. So you could use this on any gsm carrier (t-mobile , at&t). I erased most apps so right now it comes with the stock apps, cydia and installous
