The listing, 1 lb (16oz) Gold Payload Beach Sand San Fran Bay Area has ended.
1 lb Gold Pay-dirt from Pacific Ocean San Fran Bay Area. First 2 pics are the sand up for auction. Pic 3 sand on the right is this auction's sand. On the left is for comparison, (from the Yuba river). For the hobbyist, You will not get rich from this one lb of gold panning dirt. The beach looks like normal tan sand but there are areas where a small creeks empty out into the beach. When the tide comes in it creates rivulets of black sand. The black sand with tiny gold flecks that form trails. I scooped it up and voila a bucket of glittery dirt. Wish I was a better photographer I don't do it justice. It has not been searched by me. It is naturally fine and dark. I weighed it out just as it was brought home. There is definitely sparkling like fine glitter until you look at it under a 30x loop some of that glitter is different glass like grains I was told some are teeny tiny semi precious stones which sounded good but for all I know I was listening to a charlatan. I could see that some of the sparkling stuff is gold No way to guarantee how much is there. I've lost my mind gotten gold fever (thank you discovery channel) & brought buckets of concentrates & not gotten around to playing with it yet. All it takes is someone telling me there is gold in the sand at such and such a place and I am digging around (no pun intended) for empty buckets and a shovel. Good Luck and have fun!
