Up for auction is this antique wood box. I think it is a sewing machine accessory box. It says Weis on the front. The box measures 8 1/2"X 5 1/2" X 6 1/2" Inside the box are the following:

This reminds me of a cigar box I have of my dads that had important papers and trinkets in it. I found pictures of me that I had sent him through the years, that was very cool. Intriguing auction!

Yup, this is a sewing machine box. My father-in-law was an upholsterer for years, and these boxes are just wonderful, aren't they? Imagine it as a recipe box!
