Thank you! Actually the shipping should be more, and there should be handling charges for time it takes to take photos, upload photos, list descriptions, answer questions, packaging item, fuel for trip to post office, standing in long line with only one person working at our busy post office and going back online to post a tracking #.
welcome to listia, i see that you are new. there are some more things needed to add to the item description, which will avoid people asking the same questions over & over again.
does the shipping cost include a tracking #? do you take paypal? do you have a picture of the registration label? bidders like to see this before they bid. what is the condition- excellent (nothing wrong with it) or good (some visible spots of wear)? any worn spots or is the piping still intact? any stains, holes, or rips on the exterior or interior? if there are any scratches, are they minor or deep? smoking or nonsmoking home?
FROM 2006 Dooney & Bourke Catalog- page 12- Signature Hearts Stretch Slouch- is this the small (retail $245) or medium one (retail $255)? I have several catalogs with important information which i use frequently.
Thank you, I will update it. I don't smoke, but I had a dog and we have two cats now, they have their own areas and are not allowed near the bedrooms, The purse went from closet to couch for picture and into box awaiting its new home. I'll have to measure it tomorrow when I find the tape measure. I bought it from Dillard's in Mobile, AL. Have a wonderful evening!
You have enough info on there, some ppl just like to be picky, I think the pictures you have are clear and honest, you showed the lil fray in the corner clear, simply tell ppl as much as you can, but don't have to look up stuff and do allll that, just post enough pictures like you did and a detailed description, im new also but haven't had any issues, I sent 4 items out that cost me 16$ in total. .. I do free shipping ,depending on the item and that part is strictly up to you.. love the purse and hope I win!!!!!!!lol
If you look a some of my completed auctions you will see that Listians broke me in good when I first started. I have a list of rules on every auction so there isn't as many questions. Shipping fees, fuel, time & effort can be VERY costly. I've spent a small fortune paying shipping fees so I could build higher credits here. It gets even more frustrating when folks question the authenticity or don't pay many credits for an item you offer free shipping on. If its designer, it's a great way to build your credits to offer free shipping but on other items (not so much) best of luck to you & I'm definitely fanned & watching your item!! :)
Thank you, I can see how offering free shipping may entice people to bid more. And bidding is fun!!! I do offer FREE local pick up, and would be happy if the winning bidder wanted to arrange shipping themselves they may even mail me enough forever stamps to cover the shipping if they would like. I will F&W yours too!
I know how annoying it can all be. I've never charged shipping and it gets expensive, I have the credits to show for it though lol. Like on this auction is spend 30000 for free ship but wouldn't spend 1 credit even if you only charged $1 shipping. A lot of people are the same way, especially with newbies. I know personally I've been burned 99% of the time with people charging shipping. But good luck with your auction. Its a pretty purse.
I agree sometimes people have overestimated on shipping, I see it all the time on etsy, however most people I ordered from including myself refund any overage if it's over $1.00 through paypal or depending on what is ordered send you extra stuff. Maybe its just me but why would you pay to ship to someone (including time spent) stuff you no longer are using when you could just take it to the thrift store? Especially when you are getting points to just get more STUFF, lol. I suppose if it's good stuff it's worth it, but from a business point of view it's about just trading "stuff" and really shouldn't be costing you unless thats just the unwritten etiquette of Lisia and it evens out somehow, but hardly fair for the person getting rid of the big heavy item :). I love the Listia idea about recycling and hoping that whoever wins the purse will enjoy it as much as I have. Thank you for feedback I truly appreciate it! Have a wonderful evening
so i am a new bidder,,so all i have do do is bid with the amount of credits i have and that is it? and if i am the higher bidder i win that item? thats it? sorry to sound crazy.. thank you for your help here.
I'm new to Listia myself, but I think if you have the points then you can bid any amounts at a time up to the amount of points you have. Yes if you are the highest bidder you win the item. Hope this helps!
Hi! Yes, it is a shoulder bag. It measures aprox. 12 inches across and is about 9 inches high. There is a cell phone pocket and a zipper pocket inside.
