in indiana you can buy it at wal mart in the hair dye section i had my hair pink and purple before because i can never find the red one.

Yeah I get mine at cvs. You pay more but they carry all colors instock.

this is more of a dye type product than anything. i use it all the time and even store it and it still works just fine

Don't you know that after you open hair coloring products such as these, you are supposed to use it then ,right after opening. It says this usually in the warning section of the directions. You are not supposed to keep the unused dye to use it at a later time, can really damage your hair and scalp. Just F.Y.I

splat dye can be reused, just not the bleach part of it.

Q: I have already bleached and colored streaks in my hair. Now that I need to recolor them and I wont use very much of the color, will it keep in my refrigerator until the next time I need to recolor?

A. If you are referring to Splat hair color, yes, you can re-use Splat color at a later time. Simply replace the cap and Splat will keep for up to 1 year. Refrigeration is not necessary.

Just a question... how does it work if the bleach powder is not there? Never tried to use it without the bleach powder mix first.

it will still color just wont be as bright. or if you have lighter hair color that doesnt need the bleach. I have used the purple on black hair. it made it so i could work as my hair just looked black but in the sun you could clearly see it was a dark purple. I loved it. so it just does different shades of it. if you google this color most of the people that have it darker, didnt bleach.

are you sure it was this one as this one is a dark red. I do know the bright red one has a pink tone to it as I bleached my hair almost white and used the bright red; it turned a pinkish red

yes as long as you take care of it. wash/rinse hair in cool water. continue rinsing hair every time until water runs clear. when u get out drip your hair ovwr a white towel if it has any color tinted in the water that drips then rinse more. this might sound horrible to do but you get used to it. this makes it to where even if it gets wet your color will noy bleed everywhere like you see some peoples. you are basically getting any extra color out when u wash instead of it bleeding on you later.

yes I know I love it. with my sons medical things going on I have recently just went back to my orginal color. but I will be dying to back this color when I can. I had just used this on my tips with purple and black hair.
