Today's auction is a unique necklace slide/pendant measuring approximately 2" long. It's convex on the front side & flat on the back so it sits flush againt your chest. It's an amber piece with insects inside. Pieces like this form when insects try to harvest sap from trees & the sap hardens around them & crystalizes for many years forming an amber stone. The raw stone in this case was wrought into an oval with a lightweight metal casing around it with a beautiful leaf pattern. This is a truly unique piece! Thanks for stopping by :)
