I'm also in CA, would you consider taking payment for Media Mail shipping? Makes almost no difference in the same state, except it's cheaper.

I've actually already have it packed in a Flat Rate Med. Box, besides this does not qualify as Media Mail. My local Post Office is notorious for inspecting items to be sure they are shipped the way they are supposed to.

Nintendo games and consoles are not considered media mail so you can't ship it that way.

That's strange, I've had inspected packages with video games and everything worked out. The Post Office employees were the people who suggested that I start shipping my video games with media mail. Yes, after using it for a while I did look it up in the website. It does say for educational, or whatever other purposes, but the Post Office must somehow loophole video games in the category.

I've been shipping games, DVD's, VHS, CD's, all under suggestion from the Post Office. Then again, the website also says Non-machinable shipping is allowed for .65 in a plain white envelope. less than an ounce and less than 1/4 inch thick, you should be able to ship coins, card packs, etc. But it's very hard to find Post Office employees that even know what non-machinable is. But the rate is in the computer, I make them do it, and it gets shipped through no machines that destroy the envelope. So go figure, some post offices work different than others, same goes for the employees.

I completely understand what you are saying collectotrev! I am originally from S.Florida and the postal workers there did the same for me whenever I shipped games, dvds and such BUT not here in this hole in the wall town! Everything here is stuck back in the 1960's. Believe me when I say that I have butted heads with the 1 Postal employee that works there

Anyways, that's my rant about the Post Office. I'll be watching, and maybe bidding towards the end.
