Used Static Collar Without Box or Instructions.Simple to use. The dial controls how sensitive the sensor is. It beeps twice as a warning to the dog, third time sends out a slight discharge, then continues. If it goes on after 7 warnings, it shuts off for a few minutes. It worked well on my big dog, but my English Bulldog didn't seemed fazed. She didn't like the sound more than the shock so I'm moving on to just sound training. It's not a toy. I tested out in my hand before putting on my dog. It is a shock, but nothing too harmful or scary.
