The listing, W.M Roger Spoon possible 1825-1841 has ended.

W.M Roger Spoon not in best shape but still a cool thing to have. i believe it to be from around 1825-1841. not sure if its silver plated or silver its one or the other for sure. its got an eagle mark and a star mark surrounding the makers name he is pretty famous for his silver work.

2. The mark Wm. Rogers surrounded by a star and eagle was used by William Rogers between 1825 to 1841 on his coin silver spoons. From 1878 to 1893, after the death of William Sr., it was used by Simpson, Hall, Miller and Company after they signed an agreement with Wm. Rogers Jr. This mark was used again off and on from the late 1800s until at least 1939 by the International Silver Co.

First thing i'd like to thank everybody who has taken an intrest in my auction and for those that have shared info that they believe to be right about the spoon. I greatly appreciate any info from anybody that may help. I've had 2 different people give me 2 different dates they believe the spoon to be from thank you very much for your input. I'm gonna have to stand by the date i have posted for now though. I will post a link for all who wants to read why i choose to stand by my dates but link won't be posted until tomorrow when i get back to computer cuz my phone is not capable of copying and posting links i appologize for that. But once again thank you all for making my first ever auction a pleasent experience and good luck to all.
