Description

The listing, Windows 7 Professional 32 bit OEM has ended.

This auction is for a Windows 7 Profession 32 bit Installation DVD provided by a manufacturer as a free upgrade.

I never installed it and never registered the license.

Although on the tag is says "upgrade fulfillment", this DVD can be used as a full installation disk for Windows 7. This DVD does not require a previous version of windows to be installed on the computer and perform a clean "custom" install (Upgrade DVDs cannot do this).

Can this be installed on a laptop that has no operating system to upgrade?

Yes, these DVD's are not the "Upgrade" version sold at a seller price; these are full installs. You can boot of them and choose "custom" which is basically a clean installation of windows 7.

Yes with the DVD you can move from XP to Windows 7, except with XP youll have to use the "custom" (which means from scratch) install. Regardless Win 7 will save everything you have in your C:\ to a "Windows.old" folder that you can use to move all your files back.
