This is a new, unused Graco Bebe Sounds Prenatal Heart Listener!! I got this when I bought all of my maternity clothes (so it was earlier on in my pregnancy!) put it away so that I could use it when i got further along and totally forgot about it. When I bought it I pulled it out of the package to use it, then read that you can only hear the heart beat when you are in the 3rd trimester cause the baby is a lot bigger. Anyway.. here are the features of this product:

does it need batteries or is all that included? also why would you only be able to hear in 3rd trimester does it not work like a doppler?

It uses batteries, yes. I have one included in the device. Put it in there when I tried to use it when I first got it in my first trimester. When I bought it at motherhood maternity they told me it worked EXACTLY like the little device they use at the doctor but it doesn't work exactly like it otherwise I would have been able to use it in the first trimester. I'm not entirely sure why it can only be used in the 3rd trimester. I only opened it the once to try and use it and then read the instructions and that's what I remember it saying. SO I stored it and planned to use it in the 3rd trimester like it said in the instructions.. then totally for got about it until I was cleaning my closet AFTER my baby was born LOL :) Hope that helps!

just thought id let people know why only can use at about 26+ weeks. i have one and its not a doppler that gets the heart beat with sound waves like the one at the dr office. it is an amplifier so it just makes it loud enough for you to hear. sometimes it can be hard even when further along. hope thats ok that i told alittle more about it.
