^40 Gigabyte Hard Drive from new laptop we upgraded and no longer need this drive. Works great, SATA2 (6gb/s transfer) , advanced write cache capable, makes for one fast hard drive.

if it is a laptop and uses the SATA interface then yes , it will.

It DOES work but I would refund the credits if it was sent back to me in the same condition I send it out in. Right now it has windows seven on it and the drivers for an hp pavilion g series, so it will need to be reformatted and then you install your o/s. It still has the protective rubber guard I have seen in higher ebd laptops. The question I have is do YOU know how to make it work. If you had , say a dell desktop, it might sort of work but you would need new drivers etc, which is why I recommend reformatting and reinstalling. Thank you.

I was asked some time ago if I would refund credits if it doesn't "work." Well , I will , but here is the thing....it was designed for laptops....computers. If you are going to try to put it into a ps3, xbox 360 etc, , that sale is final. If you are going to put it in a laptop or a tower and it does not work I will refund the credits. I hope if you are bidding on this you know how to reformat it if need be, have an o/s if need be. It comes with windows 7, and I will provide the product key for it, but as I have said previously, unless you are running an hp pavilion series g, you will need to redo the drivers if this is to be your main drive. If it is an add on, then you have no worries. You can format it with the o/s you have , and then you have 640 gigs of extra storage space.

I don't know that much about ps3's but if your friend says it will work in a ps3, that all you need is a drive from a laptop, well that's what this is. However , I cant walk you through that process as I know nothing of ps3's, but it sounds like you have a friend who can. This one is as close to new as you can get without it having been used. But it does have windows 7 on it. You may need to reformat it (wipe it) before installing it, perhaps Gophermod will know more.

well that is exactly what im selling, a hard drive from a laptop.The blue protective rubber housing can be removed if need be , but it is a small drive as it was designed for laptop use.

what kind of computer was it. I build and repair professionally. This drive is designed, size wise, to fit laptops. Itt could be used inside a tower, thogh it would be small when putting it into the space in a tower reserved for hard drives. If you win, once you receive it, if you have any questions or need any instructions I will provide my phone number (Listia verified) to walk you through it.Please remember that it has windows 7 on it, and I will provide the product key, but I strongly recommend that it be reformatted, with your own o/s and your own drivers, I cant emphasize that enough.

I don't own a Ps/3 , but if it has what is called an external sata port then yes , it would, but it would need to be reformatted. there are also adapters at Radio shack or tiger direct to "house" external hard drives so as to make it easier to connect externally and protect the drive. just relisted at somewhat less than what inferior drives seem to be listing and selling for. 3000 is WAY MORE than fair. You can get 2400 just for doing certain surveys lol.

this drive is nearly new...it came out of a very nice i3 based processer laptop. It is a fast and excellent drive and I stand by those statements and will refund anyone who isn't satisfied. I will not , however , sell this for 499 credits. im new to listia and messed that up.
