Description

The listing, Lot of costume jewelry w/ some collectibles and some silver and copper has ended.

Looked around the house for odds and ends and this is what I found. There are 2 containers; one is a gold colored jewelry bag and the other silver toned wire mesh circular box. Next is an angel gift tag that is made of wood and a Jones Soda Pop Pin, a surgical steel stud earring, a clear plastic gem stone, and a large blue glass gemstone. Next is a wood cross w/ gold foil accents and 2 rosaries, one silver toned the other copper toned. Then we have a Mother Theresa pendant with silver toned beaded necklace the pendant is stamped with 2 different markings that I think say 16 PR, and either 800 or BOD. I don't think it's silver, but it's not magnetic, as is the JUMBO ring isn't magnetic and I believe it is silver plated copper w/ a plastic stone. Then we have a super cool marble that is a replica of the world atlas and says"Love Our Planet, Recycle". Then we have a tiny gold toned bracelet with a plastic pearl, a sea shell, and a small hanging plaque that says,"Play With Abandon". Last, we have two vials of silver flakes and an Expo '74 pendant from the 1974 World's Fair.

I have about 15 auctions and my income is $800 a month and my rent is $770 a month. That doesn't work for me, if it doesn't sell it doesn't sell.

I'm with ya. When I do free shipping its on the lighter items. I do 10 a month on the heavier items. That's my limit & yes it costs me about 100 a month for listia alone. Doesn't make much sense sometimes does it.

No, not really. I don't do this on all my items either, just the ones I know weigh more than 1st class mail and ones that I believe will get less than 1,000 credits. Seriously, 900 credits is $3 and if it's more than 13 oz. it's like a minimum of $5+ to ship unless it's media mail.

When I hear someone ask for free shipping it blows my mind ! There is no such thing people !!! Sorry to break it to you but, SOMEONE must pay for shipping !!! This is not my argument but, I wish we could make it known that shipping is never free.If I go out to a restaurant I expect to tip and tip an appropriate amount. If I can't afford to tip then I can't afford to eat there and I don't ! To ask someone to give away their stuff ,package it with care, get it to post office (and this all takes time ) and also, expect them to pay out of their own pocket to get the item or items to me is absurd and we need to rethink that request IMHO !!! No one I know can walk into a post office and ask nicely for :free shipping please?" and get it so why is it so widely expected here ? .....Just something to think about :-)

People are so obsessed with the word "free", it cost somebody money at some point. I look at this site as more of a trade/barter site. I get rid of things I don't use anymore or I have lost interest in and get things I am interested in.
