Do they have any of the problems that the old Otterboxes have - stretched out rubber, irregular fit in the slots, ripping flaps, cracked inner cases, etc???

They are not perfect but they are useable I took pics of every side of each case. I know the grey outer case is missing the flap that covers the charging area. Besides that nothing is cracked. I was thinking you could even use the grey outer case with the black inner case as well. Thanks for asking your question
