MY friend brought this beautiful sculpture fro Greece for me years ago she is Greek and has lots of money and good taste:)I its been on my mantle for a long time now time to let someone else enjoy..... its marked o n the front bottom AOPOA looks like symbols the bottom has a sticker in gold says PANELLINIOS AGORA 9 STROIOU STREET. Happy bidding one this one of a kind piece:)

The name Panellinios can be translated as Pan-Hellenic in English, and can be interpreted to mean "The Greek Nation". All the results I came up with were sports teams or health clubs. What that would have to do with a "Venus De Milo' I have no idea. I suspect that perhaps it was purchased at a shop at that location named something like "Greek National Antiquities, or Treasures", something like that. In any case, it's certainly a beautiful object, and deserving of a place of honor in any home! F&W!!

"Greek National Antiquities, or Treasures" is probably the shops name where it was purchased in Grease it is a beautiful piece how can i tell if its bronze? my friend is from there when she went back home she brought it back for me,she is wealthy and has good taste:) thanks so much for the fantastic comments!!! fanned you back and hope you bid:)
