This stone is big, but not gaudy, it is held together with 8 prongs!!!

The colors coming off this truly do leave me speechless. There are Deep Blues, Dark Greens, that just look like an Ocean. When I opened the package, I was just completely floored. I am truly tempted to keep this one, so if you suddenly see it gone lol, you know its on Rogue's finger!!!! ( jk or maybe not!! )

I do not see why not lovie, up or down 2 sizes is the norm a jeweler will do, since it really is a solitaire stone and no stones on the sides of the ring it should be ok. But ALWAYS double check first with your jeweler, some do not even like to touch sterling. If you persist though they will usually do it :) I hope I have helped you lovie!!! hugss
