i am so sorry if i am not providing the information needed. this outfit was packed away and forgot about until recently. my son never used it. he was almost a 7 pounder at birth (in summer) and still could have used it in the cold weather.... my guess is heavier than sweatshirt material but could still use another blanket to cover up in the cold. i hope this helps!
