Disocactus Flagelliformis - Rat Tail Cactus - Live Plant Piece

In perfect condition.

These cactuses are very hardy and I will send the winner a nice piece. It will be big enough.

I recently put these all in the ground like the third picture shows. They're doing great!

Stick one end in the ground and watch it take off 8)

This cactus is not freeze tolerant! It can handle cold pretty well like most cactus, but actual freezing, no!

Gooooood luck if you decide to bid 8)

and thank you!

They all start out as solo mini pieces!

I'm able to just nicely pluck limbs off of the big plants and it doesn't harm them at all. I don't have to dig up any of the plants or do anything very difficult. Takes me more time to package them than to scavage pieces 8)

Good luck!

They grow like crazy once they are happy!

I didn't do a very good job in the beginning since I was just getting into redoing the landscape of my house so I disturbed them a lot. My tortoises didn't help much either and constantly broke limbs off.

The smart thing I did was just plant the limbs over and over and over again and now I have way too many!

Now I finally have them settled somewhere good where they can grow undisturbed and they just keep go go going 8)

They don't do bad as a container plant either!

If you let the rat tails hang in the air, I've seen some of them get really long, over two feet. They don't mind that much at all. It may just get potbound over time, but what plant doesn't. Just make sure it's by a window.

My male tortoise is 100 pounds and the female is somewhere around 70. I quit weighing them a while ago and told them to stop growing, but they don't listen since they're reptiles!
