The listing, IBM Laptop AC Adaptor has ended.
IBM Laptop AC Adaptor, Input 100-240v~ 1.4A-0.7A, 50-60Hz; Output at 16.49 volts, DC; 4.5 amps, P/N 02K6750. I just tested this with a voltmeter and it works great.
Hello, Key to this is the voltage and amps your system needs. The other part is that pesky plug in style. IBM has one diameter; Dell another; Compaq still another style. These can be changed over if you're good at soldering clipped wires together to put a new plug that fits on the adapter, but this is not recommended. If you're near a Goodwill or Salvation Army store, take your system in there and let them know you just want to check for adapters. Find an IBM model and see if it plugs in without forcing it. ALSO, make sure that your system's polarity matches between plug in and plug. Usually, the center is positive -- but not always. Hope this helps. Gary.
