Yes you can, theres instructions online on the playstation website, you put the ne hard drive in, the download a file and transfer it from your computer to the ps3 with a flash drive, i almost did the exact same thing but i rarely play my ps3 so i didnt

If anyone wants to build a laptop, I took this hard drive along with the memory im auctioning off out of an acer aspire 15.6" laptop, since i took the RAM and hard drive out of it, it needs a ram, hard drive, motherboard, and a new screen which is cheap, if you're looking to build a laptop, this is a great start, tell me if youd bid on it if I listed it and how much you would bid.

Yes I can, but if I do, try to bid a decent amount, its literally been used less that maybe at the most 2 hours, and it still even has a warrant on it that ends in january
