What does GIN mean?

I'm not all that familiar with GIN and how it works but from what I've picked up is that GIN stands for Get It Now. Which is when a seller is able to offer a flat price instead of just letting people bid on the item only. So both options are given, 1 you can still put in a bid or if GIN is offered you can purchase the item for that amount without having to wait for the auction to official end. I THINK. I may have gotten that a little switched around I'm not sure. So my best advice is to look it up either in Listia's rules or where your badges are I think. I'm sorry it's not the best answer in the world but I think it's somewhere close.

Well I'm not all that great with measurements but from what I got the length from shoulder to bottom is 28in I think. My friend is coming over in a bit and I'll have her re-measure just to make sure and I'll get back to you shortly thereafter. Sorry.

You are correct on the explanation of a GIN , you can either put on on it when you list the item or you have the option to add one if someone asks and you agree on a GIN , but only if there has been no bids made yet . Also the lowest GIN you can do is 2000 and you can go up from there. However the GIN option is only available to those who have gotten sellers wing badges and have /keep up a 100% positive feedback rating . I hope this helps :) Believe me i was totally clueless until someone explained it to me ..F&W :)

Thank you for explaining the GIN process in better more understandable terms than I was able to. I hope this information was helpful not just to myself but to any and all other Listians that still had questions regarding GIN. Yes the design on the back is the same picture that is on the front minus the silver detail that runs throughout the front.

Another detail about GIN, the seller is charged 50 credits when GIN is chosen. If buyer uses GIN option, the seller gets their 50 credits back but is charged 10% of GIN. This is explained by Listia when your setting up your auction or when you go in to update an auction.
