jimmy is this your auction cause the wrestling one was as cool as this if this is yrs im going to bet on yrs only cuz it looks like u only have cool stuf.
Fanned and watching - will be back to bid later if possible, as most of my credits are tied up in other auctions right now. I finally got to see them in April 2008, for the "Snakes and Arrows" tour. I've been listening to Geddy, Alex and Neal since the mid-to-late 1970's. They sounded - and looked - incredible. Their energy level was so high that night. This was, without a doubt, the BEST concert I'd ever been to ... EVER ... and that's no insignificant statement, as I saw Led Zep on their final tour, Jethro Tull, Crosby, Stills & Nash twice, Fleetwood Mac ("Rumours" tour), Aerosmith ("Toys in the Attic" tour) and quite a few other greats over the years. I even got to listen and watch Joni Mitchell's afternoon sound check then the concert that evening ("Mingus" tour) ... I'd noticed a few years back that a lot of my favorite singers and/or groups are from Canada - Tom Cochrane and Red Ryder, Tragically Hip, Gordon Lightfoot, Sarah MacLachlan and Aimee Mann, the only person I'm aware of that sang backup for a song by Rush. Seriously good music. And hey, Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame? It's about time ya inducted the boys - long overdue, in fact - everyone else loved the three of them for decades, regardless of the neglect by "officials" and radio stations alike. One more thing - if nothing else, I think Neal is so awesome not only for his immense talent with his drums, but also with his lyrics ... I'm a published poet, so that's very impressive and gratifying to me, to hear intelligent, informed and educated lyrics. Yeah, I love Rush. Always have, always will. VERY cool auction. If I can't make it back to bid, I'll save my nickels and dimes and get it on Amazon or something.
