Thank you so much sweetheart. I'm really surprised, non of my auctions have been or are going well accept for this. The winner will be very pleased. This is a lovely ring. I want to keep most of the jewelry I buy to sell lol.
Nice auction F/W/B I would like to invite you to visit my auction hope you like what I auction: click on my profile to your left. .N/W I will bid to the end.
i dont need to add. my fingers r small; 5. we have jewerly stores that r less expensive on repairs than Kays etc... im going to show them this ring on my cell and ask them in a couple of days when i am in town. i love the color, my favorite.
Honestly the best thing to do is call a few local jewelers. Chains like zales etc are usually more expensive so I would get a couple of quotes. Also ask if they stretch or actually cut and add. Stretching makes it to thin for longtime wear.
I have a princess cut Alexandrite Gem - that changes colors with different light settings ( Blue, Red, Purple and Semi Green ). - And I love it - I have never been able to find another like it. Unfortunately I am having a hard time finding a ring maker to put this stone back into. It was bought as an engagement ring and worn for years before the band wore thin and broke. I would love to have it back on my hand again. Cheap - I know, but priceless to me.
I had such a great experience with our last dealings that I'm saving up my credits and will bidding on this as it gets to the end. Hope for your sake it goes high, but I can't help hoping it won't be out of my reach. Talk to you soon, I hope. Lynn
Lol! Sorry, what I meant, just worded badly, was the color change between natural and artificial light. Usually lab created has all the same characteristics of the naturally grown stone, they are chemically the exact same thing. Alexandrite usually changes between red and blue, some more than others. I have never been able to afford a real one, and haven't gotten a lab created one yet. I have a simulated but of course that's nothing like the real stone and has no color change. So I would love a lab created, well I would LOVE a natural but don't see that happening anytime soon! Lol! Sorry for the confusion! Love ya! :))
If I'm getting this correct this color is more of what you would see in a darker artificial light setting, brighter In Norma and even more so with blue hues in sunlight.
