The listing, KEY DATE 1914-D Buffalo Nickel has ended.
This is a scarce Restored Date 1914-D Buffalo nickel. This is one of the key dates of the series and catalogs for $85-90 in G-4. Even restored date coins like this one still sell for at least $20-40 on E-bay. The mintmark is clear and original. Fill that empty hole in your album!!
This is a nice nickel in just about any state. Except maybe Kentucky, I don't think they use nickels. Seriously though this is almost the rarest most hard to get your hands on 5 cent piece of the last century what do u mean "nice coin in its original state" as long as the date and mm are visible this is a rare treasure.
The coin had no date originally. This coin is hard to get in any condition hence the high catalog value. Survival of these early dates is affected by the location of the date and the fact that 1913-16 coins have light dates
