This is a hand-painted candle, carved by a local artisan in the Black Forest of Germany, purchased in Baden-Baden approximately 35 years ago. The top opens to insert a small candle or tea-light which then glows through the carved outer candle. The detail and artistry are stunning. There are no nicks or other issues to indicate its age and only slight wear marks on the bottom. It is approximately 8 inches tall and 5 inches diameter. It is heavy, of course, weighing in at a hefty 4 lbs 4 oz. It will be very carefully packaged to avoid any damage during shipping. The most economical shipping is Flat Rate Medium Priority USPS.
