There is a space to write for every day of the week and a space at the bottom to write notes that might not fit in the weekly area or that you might think of later. A great tool, I have a desk top one but not a a magnetic one.

Is it made of paper or dry erase board?

paper, I thought the back would tell me how many sheets of paper but it doesn't. I don't want to break the seal and take the plastick of to count the pages but I can tell you it's about 1/4" thick so I'm guessing around 30 - 40 pages are on the pad. I have one that is not magnetic and I"ve been using it every week since January and I still have tons of sheets left on it.
