Are there any damages to the shorts? Meaning like stains, tears, rips, etc; I usually am a size 6 or 8 in womens but when I go to juniors I usually have to go up to a size 9 because juniors clothing is cut smaller so I hope these fit..

No stains, tears, or rips. On the right side just below the pocket (left in pic) if you can see well enough is a small patch of that frayed rip look that a lot of jeans have today. They came like that and that part is all in place like when I bought them. I wear an 8 in women's or misses so if you can wear a 6 or 8 they should fit cause I can not do a 6 I doubt. They came from the Junior Department at Kohl,s. Not sure what they would be equivalent to in the Women,s Department. Possibly a 6 or 8 if I had to guess.

Hi! I always buy 9 in shorts and jeans but I understand what you are asking cause sometimes even though you wear a 9 you may go up a size or down depending if they are running bigger or smaller in a particular brand. These are made out of thicker jean than some if the jean shorts they make today. Hope I answered your question. :)
