I don't know if you have ever heard of this test, but I have found it works. Put a fair amount of liquid makeup on the top of your hand. (foundation) Rub the ring over the liquid makeup. If there is a black line where you rubbed the ring, it is usually silver.

That was an awesome idea thank you and it worked it turned a lighter shade of black then my other rings so maybe silver plated? But still pretty and great for a young lady, who want's a ring but mama and daddy don't want to spend a ton on a ring that will eventually get lost.
