The listing, Xbox 360 HD DVD player has ended.

I'm giving away my xbox360 HD DVD drive. This drive is used to play HD DVD's on the xbox360. I'm giving it away because I never use it and all the movie companies have moved to blue-ray instead of HD DVD's.

Comes with all gables, an instruction manual and the install disc.

Winner will pay $5 Shipping unless its a local pickup.

i will be bidding really need this so kid will stop using my hddvd player to watch his jeff bridges king kong and brige to teribtia hddvd on my player . i rather have him use my 360 to watch them at least the 3 60 is easier to replace lol

I do have some good news, I spent a good hour searching and I found the DVD remote that came with the HD DVD drive. The remote will be included with the HD DVD drive.

Remote is working and still in good shape. The buttons have green LED backlight making it easy to see in the dark.

I was so happy looking forward to this auction thinking I'll win... today I turned on my Xbox 360 to play it and now it has RROD. :'[ I hope someone outbids me because I feel bad that someone else wanted this player as much as I do.

If this is your picture it did come with remote . no hddvd drive was sold without the remote . unless you bought it used . i owned 3 of theas at one point had no 360 at time and all 3 came with remotes and king kong movies . sorry but iserious dont belive it didnt come with remote cause they were never sold that way . yes remotes were sold sereate as replacements for ones that came with the hd dvd drive sorry but if you dont have remote this is uterly useless . might as well use as a coaster. unless you feelike useing controller as a remote .

Jdrosey I check the box and it did in fact come with a DVD remote. I did not buy it used I just didnt remember it coming with a remote. No I do not know where the remote is, no DVD remote will be included.

I purchased it from Target a few years back. I don't think Microsoft sells them any more since the movies companies left HD DVD for blue-ray.

Good News! I didnt include the kingKong DVD in the description because I didn't know where it was. But I just found it! I'm including the KingKong Movie with its HD DVD case and also the HD DVD movie Billy Madison.
No there is no remote, It didn't Come with a remote(sold seperately) You control the movie playback with the regular xbox controller.

I was really hoping someone would list one of these... There have been a bunch of HDDVD's listed that go for pretty cheap so I'd consider that a huge reason for people trying to fight for this.

No it doesnt play games, it will only play regular and HD DVD movies. When the xbo360 came out it just had a regular dvd player, Microsoft then give this option so you could connect it and play both HD and regular DVDs.
