because peridot is the august birth stone, i am presenting here a gorgeous sterling silver ring, featuring 3 genuine peridot stones that total 20.5 ct. this stunningly beautiful ring is a size 9 & stamped 925 on the band. thank you for looking, as always my bidding starts at 499!!

Questions & Comments

Can you give country of origin for the peridot? I know the peridot from here (AZ)is more lime color and hard to get because the only mine is on the res and the indians closely regulate how much is mined. If I had to guess without seeing it I would say China or the Middle East. I like this better than the lime color. Very nice

Peridot is one of the few gemstones that occur in only one color, green. The intensity and tint of the green, however, depends on how much iron is contained in the crystal structure, so the color of individual peridot gems can vary from yellow- to olive- to lime to brownish-green. The most valued color is a dark olive-green. Unfortunately i don't know the origin of this stone as I did not ask at the time of purchase & it is not specified on my invoice.
