This is a lot of 12 Chinese made Acrylic crystal earring boxes with a nice metal hinge. They come enclosed in a white cardboard box with an oval window. Yes they are pretty cool, but after the initial impression, they might strike the gift recipient as a bit junky compared to an all Velvet or leatherette box. Anyway they do seem well made and sturdy and have a piece of faux velvet cardboard for the earrings inside.

That's true but it also might makes other bidders feel a little guilty about bidding and somewhat indignant of being put in that position. Maybe it does cause these negative associations which send some people away from an auction, not to say just honoring someones wishes sometimes too.

Oh yeah, bidding begging is a hot thing on Listia. I often block people I see doing that on auctions. Don't particularly want them visiting my auctions. Usually, if you check them out, they have pretty much zero credits and no activity.
