what company did you have it hooked up with and isnt a gsm sim card a normal sim card that most companys use

Yes, it is but for instance...Verizon simcards are NOT GSM...so it will not accept Verizon's sim card. I've only tried AT&T sim card, and it works...even prepaid :)

There isn't an actual company that you can hook it up with, just put a GSM sim card in. I don't know how else to put it. I am not tech savvy. :l
