The listing, Large LOT of Big Floral Flower Petals for Appliqué on Quilt Blocks / Top has ended.
Up for bid are a lot of flower petals that were cut in preparation for appliquéing onto quilt blocks.
These were not originally mine, but I'm fairly sure it is cotton (and there is no evidence of smoke or pets). I believe, since the petals are so large, that there were meant to be 4 to a flower. There are no middles, so if you would desire to have a middle (I'm thinking something yellow?), you would have to add that on your own.
There are 16 pink petals, 4 purple, 12 red and 12 blue (which would amount to 11 complete sets of flower petals using four each). There are also 3 extra purple, 2 extra blue and one pink one that has been machine hemmed (I would do these by hand if I was doing them).
These would be quite large blocks when complete, and there should be enough here to work into a nice-sized quilt top.
The cutting is nicely done with even edges. And these would certainly make a pretty vintage-looking cottage-style quilt!
