Description

The listing, Size 8 Emerald Ring set in .925 Sterling Silver has ended.

This auction is for a Size 8 Emerald set in .925 Sterling Silver. This ring is a very Simple Band with a Genuine Emerald at the forefront. This is a very light green Emerald. Just like all Semi Precious stones there are different grades and this grade is lower in Dark Green color and that is why the green is so light. This is brand new and never been owned. It still has the tag on it from my store.
A little info on Emerald;
The emerald is the sacred stone of the goddess Venus. It was thought to preserve love. The emerald has long been the symbol of hope. It is considered by many to be the stone of prophecy. For some the emerald acts as a tranquilizer for a troubled mind. The emerald is said to bring the wearer reason and wisdom. The strongest time for the powers of the emerald is said to be spring.

Lucky for love, give your lover an emerald to stay faithful.

In several cultures the emerald was the symbol for fertilizing rain. In the Christian faith it is the symbol of faith and hope.
Emerald is used by healers to help heal the heart. The power of the Emerald is highest at the full moon.

Some cultures thought the emerald would heal any disease of the eye. The emerald would be placed in a container of water overnight and the water would be poured on the eyes the next day.

Emerald is a stone of great harmony, wisdom and love. Giving your lover an Emerald will bring the lover closer if the giver's motives are pure love. The Emerald can be a bridge between 2 people. The Emerald vibrates with love.

No it is not all my stones are natural. It is like with all stones color cut and carat. This one is a lower grade and has the lighter colored stone. Thanks for asking the excellent question and stopping by to take a look at the auction=)

I am not at home right now so I will do my best to answer and then post what I dont know as an update later this evening. The country of origin is Brazil to the best of my memory. The Carat I dont know as I bought these with their silver being my main priority and the mm I will have to get you when I get home and I will check the country of origin as well. I bought them all at the international gem and mineral show in Tuscan Arizona from dealers from all over the world. Thanks so much for taking the time to take a look at the auction and asking the questions. Please check back later for an update=)

Okay WiharuO, Sorry I had forgotten this came from the Aussie's. So this stones country of origin is Australia. As for Carat I am never going to know that one and for mm I honest have nothing that will measure in mm. I can tell you it is 1/8"long, 1/16th" Wide, and the same in depth. Sorry I can't give you a better answer. My purpose in buying this ring for my store was one it is real Sterling Silver and two, it is a way to bring emerald to someone who needs the properties of the stone but wouldn't be able to afford an A grade emerald of the same size. I have said this is a low grade stone. My hubby carries a tumbled emerald in his pocket every day so he has one with him. So I had one or two of these left after I closed my shop and decided to list in on here and hopefully someone who can get some Joy out it will want it and get to own it. I am not a professional Jeweler, although we had them to consult with when bringing stuff into the store, I am a Spiritual Adviser who tried to provide earthly aids to help them reach the divine to people lives. Sorry I don't have a better answer for you but it is the honest one.
