It shouldn't! :) but I'm not sure if there's copper or not so maybe just avoid water (:

I don't believe so. Just in case though take it off when you know you'll be in contact with water and if it starts to color your finger (which it shouldn't) then coat it with clear nail polish :) I had to do that to a ring of mine before but this one is an auction I won not too long ago but I'm not sure what its made out of..sorry! :)
