This Item I just won off of Listia. I asked the seller if I could do a refund, since she never stated the condition it was in, which I feel is a bit deceiving :( also she didn't say no refunds, but she refused and told me to relist it, so I will not fight it I will just let you know to be aware if you bid on whitewine46 items.
It is an antique bracelet but I believe it could use a good cleaning and a jewelers touch for the gold overlay. The pics are the one the original owner took on the auction I bid on, and it's hard to see that the gold is not complete, It's not badly worn but it needs some TLC. Since I don't know anything about the history of this piece I am going to give you the info I got from the original listing from "whitewine46"

WOW! Another one of my great great aunts gold and silver pieces. Ok she got this piece from a young man that was telling her he was going off to war. He gave her this piece so she wouldn't forget him. My grandmother was there when she say her aunt get this. People I just have no need for antique jewelry. I got so much stuff from my great great aunt I'm ready to get rid of a lot of it. I feel like Hoarder! Please see all pics and the silver and real gold on this bracelet. This is a great piece for any antique or vintage jewelry.
OK NOW THIS IS WHAT I'M STATEING: The condition of this antique is wearable in good shape, has a tiny ding, Claps works well, 925 is on inside of cuff, but has some cosmetic problems gold flakes missing, for a jeweler to take care of. Hey from 1945 I'd say It's normal wear.
I'm an honest seller and I ship within a day of closing at the most 2. I add tracking as well.
If you find anything wrong with this item, other than what I stated I will gladly do a refund.

Just so you know if you do want to fight something misrepresented next time by filing a dispute with listia, if you mail the item back to the seller listia will refund your credits no matter what the seller wants to do. Also it is not antique if it is from 1945, to be antique it has to be 100 years older or older. This is just vintage. The original seller had a really nice story and honestly being marked .925 not sterling, the story could be a completely made up or the story misunderstood/changed over the years being passed down orally. Sounds to me like she had an emotional price tag on this item (happens a lot when people sell off stuff that belonged to a family member who has passed). Most older vintage and antique stuff is marked sterling not 925. I am about to go research what year the laws changed regarding the marks required for identifying precious metals. That is a sure way to date something accurately. I'm sorry you got kind of scammed but thanks for posting the original sellers listia username to help the rest of us not get kind of scammed. Good luck hope you can re-coop your credits...

It's really hard to tell what shape it is in by the pictures. They were taken too close and are blurry. Chrissymc is correct, antique is 100 yrs old or older. There is a lot of stuff on here that isn't even vintage or mid century that is being called antique.
I do believe however that the 925 does denote silver. Hope you are able to get your points back.

The pics are what was originally posted so I added my own the last 4 pictures of it so You could see it better. There are a few gray area's where the gold has come off that show up in the pictures I took. Thank You for commenting, I appreciate it.

I agree with all of you; there is a company listing items as "vintage", but they are new from China. They should be listing as "vintage like", or similar. I'm so tired of it! There's another company listing items as coming from Portugal. (bunch of b.s.) I ordered two items from them and only one item came. They wouldn't send me a new product, the bid was only 1 bid, so I didn't dispute it. However, my shipping was wayyyy high, they charge terribly high. They say they are charging international shipping, when the one item I DID receive came from the US. It is such a scam. The seller's name is Zellytah. Sorry Zellytah, but I won't be scammed twice either!

It's people like that on here that ruin it for someone who is just trying to get rid of some of there clutter and bid on things they will use. I started on here in June just to get rid of stuff and get things for my 1st born grandson. He's 9 months old out growing everything has no shoes and needs learning toys..His Mom works part time and I only volunteer bar tend once a week and watch my grandson the rest. So This was a way to get things. I've been doing free shipping but these fees are adding up so that might have to change. But I'd never scam anyone!!!!
