The listing, Antique Silverplated Serving Bowl with Cut Work Edges...Made in USA has ended.

This antique Bowl is a numbered edition with markings on the bottom that read..."Manufactured and plated by SIMPSON MFG CO., USA#1404 stamped into the silver plating and the number 66 written into the silver plating. This piece is from the mid 1800's.It is silver plated over hand wrought metal. The Cut work around the edges of this bowl are exquisite. I have never seen another one like it anywhere. The total weight of this piece is 1 lb 3 oz. I hope this is a better description than the first one I posted. Good Luck to all Bidders!!!

Hi and thank you for your question. The markings are now listed in the description and I have added a picture of the botton in hopes that you can see some of them. It is easily read with a 10x Loop. This was the best picture my camera could get of it. I also included an extra picture to show the detailed cut work around the edges of the piece. What is the size of the bowl?

Hi thanks for your inquiry. The bowl is 9" W at the largest width in diameter. At the top the bowl is 7" W. It stands 6" High and the bottom base is 4" across. This is a beautiful conversation piece.
